What is available closer to home in West Yorkshire

Leeds has a strong aesthetics sector and excellent NHS urology. If your concern is pain, curvature or a change in erections, a GP referral may be the better first step, and we will say so at assessment.

For girth filler specifically, the fair questions are how many of these procedures the injector performs each month, whether the product is reversible, and who you reach at nine in the evening. Ask us the same.

Risks, side effects and reversal

Risks

  • Infection is the main risk with any injectable procedure. Sterile technique is used throughout and aftercare covers exactly what to watch for.
  • Lumps, nodules or unevenness can occur, and are usually correctable with adjustment or dissolving.
  • Filler migration or asymmetry is possible, which is why volume is placed in layers and reviewed.
  • Rare but serious vascular complications are recognised with any filler. They are the reason a doctor performs the procedure and hyaluronidase is held on site.
  • No result can be promised or guaranteed. Individual results vary.

Common side effects

  • Swelling and bruising for the first few days, usually peaking around day two.
  • Tenderness and a firm feel to the tissue while the filler settles.
  • Temporary discomfort during injection, reduced by local anaesthetic.

Correction and reversal

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Correction within four weeks of treatment is available up to 5ml, and full dissolving costs £300. Permanent materials are not used here, precisely so that this option exists.

Questions from Leeds patients

Can I travel back to Leeds the same day?

Yes. The procedure is walk in and walk out under local anaesthetic, and the journey is around one hour twenty by road. We ask you to avoid strenuous activity that evening and give you written aftercare before you leave.

Do I need to come to Manchester twice?

Not usually. Where assessment shows the treatment is appropriate and you are happy to proceed, consultation and treatment can be completed in one visit. Follow-up can often be handled remotely.

Is the clinic near the M62?

It is a short run from the M62 via the M60 and M56, on the airport side of the city, so you avoid Manchester city centre entirely. Parking on site is free.

What is P-Filler?

P-Filler, also called A.P.E, is a non-surgical girth treatment. Medically approved hyaluronic acid filler is placed in layers along the shaft under local anaesthetic, in a single same-day appointment carried out by a UK GP.

What is the P-Shot?

The P-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma taken from your own blood. Blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, then injected after local anaesthetic. It is designed to support tissue repair and blood flow rather than to add volume.

Who is not suitable for treatment?

Suitability is decided at consultation. Active infection, certain bleeding and clotting problems, some medications, and untreated underlying disease can all mean treatment is deferred or declined. If you are not suitable, the clinic will say so.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book directly. Nothing is shared with your GP without your written consent.

Can filler and the P-Shot be combined?

They address different problems, so some patients have both, usually at separate appointments. The sequence is agreed at consultation.

Will it hurt?

Local anaesthetic is used for every procedure, and most patients describe pressure rather than pain. Some tenderness and swelling for a few days afterwards is normal.

How long is the appointment?

Most appointments are walk in, walk out on the same day. Allow time for the consultation, the anaesthetic to take effect, and the procedure itself.

When can I go back to normal activity?

Most patients return to desk work the same day or the next day. Avoid sexual activity for two weeks while filler settles, and avoid heavy exercise for the first few days. Specific guidance is given at your appointment.
